Become a Friend of the Farmstead

The Friends of Barclay Farmstead, Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer organization founded in 1975 to promote the historic, educational and interpretive activities of the Barclay Farmstead and to promote the restoration of the house, outbuildings and grounds.

“Friends” help make history come alive at the Farmstead by managing the collection of historic artifacts and furnishings, co-sponsoring events such as Living History Day and funding a portion of the Living History Education Program.

The Friends of Barclay Farmstead raise funds through events & programs held throughout the year, including “Holiday House” and a Spring Luncheon featuring a program of historic entertainment.  Members of the Friends Board of Directors also manage our Museum Shop, which features gifts and souvenirs for “friends” of all ages!

Get involved with one or two of our active committees, which include Membership, Interior Design, the Herb Garden and Apple Orchard, Museum Shop, Holiday House, Bus Trip, Spring Luncheon, Barclay Farmstead Quilters, and more!

The Friends are pleased to announce the creation of an Evening Advisory Board to continue our support of restoration and historic programming at the Farmstead.    If you have always been interested in the events and activities taking place at the Barclay Farmstead, this is a perfect opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of this historic community treasure.  Call the Farmstead office at 856-795-6225 for information regarding an upcoming meeting.
